Mini ‘Cooper 1300’ classic, 1988

Mini ‘Cooper 1300’ classic, year 1988. Colour red combined with a black cloth interior. This fantastic Classic Mini was sold new as a Mini Red 1000. This beautiful Mini was upgraded with a 1275 cc Cooper engine derived from an Innocenti Mini Cooper – The grille with the Mini Cooper 1300 badge was also taken from the same donor car. The engine features two S.U. carburettors and a ‘fast road’ spec ‘286’ camshaft. The history of this Mini Cooper and the conversion are very well documented. The car is in excellent condition inside and out and the car drives perfectly! The Mini is very sporty, it handles, brakes and shifts superbly and… the soundtrack of the engine is fantastic! This magnificent Mini Cooper features a luxurious interior with special Corbeau bucket seats, a wood dashboard, a sports steering wheel with a wood rim, an engine revolution counter, a powerful HiFi sound system and wonderful 12 inch ‘GB’ alloy wheels. This is a fantastic example!
